The Speech team will be hosting a meeting tomorrow, Thursday, October 19 during Power Hour, first shift from 11:22-11:52 in room 215. It is not too late to join the team. Please attend the meeting if you are interested. If you are unable to attend, please contact Mr. Apling at aplingc@uni.edu
Go to the CFHS webpage to order your 2017 Football Playoff T-shirts! The last day to order and pay for them is Monday, October 23 at 12:00pm. See Mrs Steffy in the main office to pay for your shirt. Shirts will only be ordered if they are paid for.
Chess Club will meet every Wednesday during the first shift of Power Hour starting today in room 146. Everyone is welcome, whether you've never played chess or you're a pro. Contact Chi Chi Tong if you have any questions.
There will be a Model United Nations meeting in room 147 during the second half of Power Hour today.

Senior Leadership is sponsoring an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament TODAY during Power Hour on the Sophomore practice field. Sign up your team before 10 a.m. on SCHOOLOGY class pages. All members need to bring a FOOD item for the Student Food Drive to play!

Reminders: There will be a women’s Lacrosse clinic on Wednesday, October 18th at Birdsall Park from 5:30-7:30. Meghan Gruver of the Wartburg Lacrosse team will be there. It’s a great opportunity to play a new sport with no experience required. All equipment will be provided.
It is CFHS Spirit week at Chick-Fil-A. Stop by Chick-fil-A from Monday the 16th to Friday the 20th and say you are with Cedar Falls. We are competing to see who has the best spirit week with East and West High Schools. The school who has the most profits during their week can win $1000. If we win, we will put this towards our Food Drive total.
