The Iowa State Bar Association will again be sponsoring their annual "Know Your Constitution" quiz and essay contest. This year's quiz and essay are now posted on the ISBA website or you can contact your Social Studies teacher for more information. Completed answer sheets and essays are due to Ms. Lake or your Social Studies teacher by Tuesday, November 28th.
Representatives from the following colleges and military branch will be here next week to speak with interested students: United States Air Force - Wednesday, Oct 11 5th period; Loras College - Wednesday, Oct 11 7th period;Luther College - Thursday, Oct 12 2nd period; Students may sign up in counseling or through Schoology.
SENIORS: Please fill out the College Application Sign Up Form ASAP! We have visitors coming this week from Iowa, UNI,ISU, Hawkeye, Kirkwood, Ellsworth, UNI ROTC and Wartburg. You need to sign up to come and see them to fill out a college application!!
There will be an informational Speech meeting on Friday, October 6 at 7:25 am in room 215 and also at 3:00 pm in room 215. You pick the time but it is important that you attend one of them! If you are unable to attend, contact Mrs. McCawley or Mr. Apling ASAP!
Reminders: On Wednesday, October 11th we will be holding the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) open to sophomores and juniors. If you'd like to learn more about the what the test is, how it can benefit you, and how to sign up please visit the link Mr. Wood posted on your Classes Schoology page. Deadline to sign up and pay is Friday, October 8th. We have a limited number of tests, so sign up will be first come, first serve. Thank you!
