The winners of the Lip Sync Battle last week were Meron Abebe and Alinani Mpundu. Please see Mrs. Cuvelier for your prize. All battles were very well done and we appreciate all participants, judges and fans!
On Wednesday, October 11th we will be holding the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) open to sophomores and juniors. If you'd like to learn more about the what the test is, how it can benefit you, and how to sign up please visit the link Mr. Wood posted on your Classes Schoology page. Deadline to sign up and pay is Friday, October 6th. We have a limited number of tests, so sign up will be first come, first serve.
Seniors: A reminder that the early graduation form is due TODAY! Please turn it in to your counselor.
Get Ready...Tiger Pals is back! Tiger Pals is all about high school students mentoring elementary students. If this sounds interesting please email Mrs. Droste at megan.droste@cfschools.org for the sign up form.
SENIORS: Please fill out the College Application Sign Up Form ASAP! We have visitors coming this week from Iowa, UNI, ISU, Hawkeye, Kirkwood, Ellsworth, UNI ROTC, Wartburg. You need to sign up to come and see them to fill out a college application!!
Representatives from the following schools will be here this week to speak with interested students: Tues, Oct 3: Drake University and Iowa State University; Thurs, Oct 5: Hawkeye Community College and Kirkwood Community College. Students may sign up in counseling or through Schoology.
Reminders: Have you thought of continuing your education at Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University, Georgetown University, or Duke University? If you said yes to any of those universities, there will be an informational session for you and your parents at the Cedar Rapids Marriott (1200 Collins Rd. NE) on Thursday, October 5th at 7:00 pm.
