You can purchase your homecoming tickets starting TODAY! You will fill out the form on Schoology and pick up your tickets in the office. Reminder, if you are purchasing a ticket for someone who does not attend CFHS, you must have the guest form filled out and approved.
A representative from the following schools will be here next week to speak with interested students: Wayne State,Tuesday,Sept 26, 6th period; St. Ambrose, Tuesday, Sept 26, 7th period; Coe College, Thursday, Sept 28, 4th period. Students may sign up in counseling or through Schoology
Have you thought of continuing your education at Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Stanford University, Georgetown University, or Duke University? If you said yes to any of those universities, there will be an informational session for you and your parents in Cedar Rapids Marriott (1200 Collins Rd. NE) on Thursday, October 5th at 7:00 pm. The CF Fellowship of Christian Athletes will have a cookout tomorrow during Power Hour. If you signed up to bring items, please drop them off with Mr. Wilkinson in room 53 either today or tomorrow morning.
The Art Club will be meeting in the Art rooms during PowerHour the rest of this week to make CF spirit bracelets for homecoming week.
Join us for the 2017 Powder Puff game on Sunday, September 24th at 6pm. Sophomore leadership will be selling popcorn and lemonade with proceeds going to the Food Drive. We also encourage you to bring a donation of money or canned food as we get ready to Kick off our 2017 Student Food Drive!
The UNI Business Day is on October 27th from 8:00am-1:30pm. If you are interested in majoring in business, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the program at UNI. Register today at uni.edu/businessday.
Seniors: The school counselors will be meeting with you today during your English class to share IMPORTANT information. Please bring your Chromebook ready and charged up. If you do not have an ENGLISH class this semester, please let your counselor know ASAP!!
REMINDERS: Tie Blanket Day is coming! We will tie blankets on THURS. to give to U of I's NEW Children's Hospital that oversees Kinnick! If interested in donating there is a collection in the front office. You may also bring your own FLEECE and join us on Thursday in Business Room 272.
If you plan to bring a guest to Homecoming who is not a student at Cedar Falls High School, you must fill out a guest form, which can be picked up at the main office, or found on the High school website. Forms must be turned in NO LATER than 3:30 pm on Wednesday, Sept 27.
