Student Life Cedar Falls High SchoolThe fall men's tennis meeting will be held today after school at 3:10 in Room 106. Any men's tennis players, or prospective tennis players are welcome to attend. We will order uniforms for the season, distribute schedules, and cover what you need to do to be ready for the season. Seniors: The school counselors will be meeting with you today during your English class to share IMPORTANT information. Please bring your Chromebook ready and charged up. If you do not have an ENGLISH class this semester, please let your counselor know ASAP!!
Representatives from the following schools will be here to speak with interested students: St. Olaf - Monday, September 18 at 2:00; Simpson College - Tuesday, September 19 at 9:40; United States Army - Tuesday, September 19 at 10:30. Interested students may sign up in counseling or through Schoology.
There will be a DECA Club meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 19th in Room 274 during Power Hour A to discuss club events and competitions for this year. Please come and find out what DECA is all about.
Senior football players, football cheerleaders, Dance Team and football managers who were at the game last Friday night, please stop by the reception desk at the main office to pick up a picture that was taken that night.
Comforting Kids & Tying Up CANCER
On Thursday, Sept 21, Senior Leadership will be hosting a TIE BLANKET event. The blankets will be delivered to cancer patients at the Iowa Children's Hospital in Iowa City. This new hospital just opened and sits over Kinnick Stadium! We are taking donations of money in the main office to buy fleece, OR you may bring fleece of your choice on the day we TIE! We will tie blankets ALL Power Hour on Thurs. Sept. 21 in the Business Hall-- PLEASE join us!
Reminders: If you plan to bring a guest to Homecoming who is not a student at Cedar Falls High School, you must fill out a guest form, which can be picked up at the main office, or found on the High school website. Forms must be turned in NO LATER than 3:30 pm on Wednesday, Sept 27.
If you missed having your picture taken back in August, you will have another opportunity on Monday, September 18. Picture order forms can be picked in the office, or printed off the High School website.
