SENIORS: Get Ready!! Wednesday and Thursday during Power Hour A you will need to come to the auditorium on your assigned day for a short presentation about your senior year from the school counselors. You will also get measured for your cap and gown. Attendance is mandatory and you will have time to eat lunch!! Students with the letters A-K will come on Wednesday and students with letters L-Z will come on Thursday.
Social Issues Club will have their first meeting after school in room 256 today after school. Come with ideas for possible discussion topics for the rest of the year. Donuts will be served!
Any students interested in joining the FIRST Robotics Competition Team 525 should contact Mr. Swartley through school email or come to a team meeting. The FRC team meets at 7:00 on Tuesday evenings at 5547 Westminster Dr. New students are welcome at any meeting during the fall.
Today in Power Hour:
If you are interested in joining the high school Rocket Club, we will meet TODAY during A-shift of Power Hour in Rm. 31 (next to the Art Room and Weight Room). Come and build model rockets with us. No experience necessary! If you cannot make the meeting please see Mr. Nicholson for details.
The Art Club will host their first meeting of the year during today B shift Power Hour in Art room #34. Join us for treats and to plan the coming semester's activities!

Join us for our 3rd annual DO BETTER. BE BETTER. 5K Run/Walk Color Dash on Saturday, September 17th at 8:30am at Pfeiffer Park in Cedar Falls. Money raised through this 5K will go towards a scholarship for one of our very own CFHS 2017 seniors. You can also earn 3 PE make-ups by participating. Please pick up your registration packet in the counseling office to register or register online withgetmeregistered.com.
Any sophomore who is interested in applying for Sophomore Leadership please see Mrs. Gruhn in Room 144 either before or after school or during A shift Power Hour. If you already applied last spring it is not necessary to re-apply. Deadline for new applications is Tuesday, Sept. 6.
