Team Up Day on October 13

Friday, October 13 will be Team Up day at Cedar Heights!!!We have a family that has been affected by a fire, so we are going to team up to help them out.Students will be able to wear favorite team hat/shirt to school that day with at least a $1 donation.We are looking forward to seeing your team spirit, and thanks so much for helping support our Cedar Heights family!!

Picture+day Cedar Heights Elementary

Picture Retakes on October 26

Lifetouch Photography will be back at Cedar Heights to take pictures of students who missed our initial picture day in September, as well as retakes for families that would like to have new pictures taken.Students who missed picture day can bring their order envelopes that day, if you need envelopes, there are some available in the office.Families who would like retakes need to send the original pictures to school with the student to get those taken.

Eagle Scout Project Makes a Difference in our Hallway

If you walk down the music hallway in our school this year, you may see a very welcome change.  Unlike past years, students are no longer in danger of kicking instruments as they head to lunch, music, band and orchestra lessons, and recess.  In past years we didn't have a system in place to store instruments that didn't fit in student lockers, forcing some of our band and orchestra students to leave the instruments on the floor in the hallway.  This posed a potential difficulty for both st [...]

Creative+drama Cedar Heights Elementary

Creative Drama

Flag Raising Tradition Continues

Cedar Heights kicked off the 2017-18 school year with it's annual flag raising tradition.  Each year at about 9:15 on the first day of school the entire school gathers in the circle drive.  Mr. Ortman starts our time off with a greeting and introduction of new staff, followed by the raising of the flag and the Pledge of Allegiance.  Here are some photos of our flag raising this year.  Thanks so much to Mrs. Kim Pierce and Mr. Paul Lee for the pictures!
