Let the Games Begin!

Let the games begin!  During the first two weeks of school North Cedar Elementary P.E. students along with their teacher, Mr. Cross, celebrated the recent 2017 Summer Olympics by conducting their own version of the olympic games.  Students competed in a variety of track and field events along with a few other creative games including “swimming” and “rowing” on scooters, “torch” relays and “water polo”.

8th+grade+cake+party+%281%29 Peet Junior High

8th Grade Cake Party here to view a video of our 8th grade Cake Party being held in Family Consumer Science 8th grade classes.The 8th grade FCS students come up with a design, bake the cake, decorate and then invite their family, friends and teachers to attend a cake party.  Students do a great job of helping serve and clean up after the party!

Lincoln Singers Audition for Opus!

Twenty seven 5th and 6th grade students auditioned for a state wide honor choir called Opus. To audition, students sang a major scale, America, and an Italian piece called La Danza (that they actually sang in Italian!). Approximately 1,000 5/6 students around the state of Iowa audition for this group and only 180 are selected.
