PEET JR HIGH ONLINE REGISTATION INFORMATION:  The district will hold online registration for all returning students. This will allow you to register your student online via your PowerSchool Parent Portal. We will not hold a traditional registration. Online registration will be opened on July 1 and closed on Friday, August 3. If you have not yet registered, you will need to visit the administration office at 1002 W First Street, Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm.  Call 319-553-3004 for assistance.

Pay Registration Fees Online

Registration fees, activity tickets, lunch deposits, yearbooks, and all prior fines may be paid through RevTrak, the online fee payment system.  RevTrak is available through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. The District will grant either full, partial, or temporary waivers for instructional fees depending upon specific financial criteria. Application for this waiver can be filled out during the online registration process.


You will need to fill out this form, CLICK HERE, if you are requesting busing. Transportation is free for junior high students (7-9) that live more than two miles from their resident school. These distances are determined by the Cedar Falls Transportation Department.

You MUST submit a transportation request for each student that needs busing.

Parent/Guardian of open enrolled students are responsible for their student(s) transportation.

Parent/Guardian of Rules Exception students are responsible for their student(s) transportation.

PEET PATT: (Parents And Teachers Together) Parents are invited to join PATT and participate in PATT activities. The PATT parent group organizes volunteers for numerous school activities including dances, Adopt-A-Family, etc. They also fundraise for the school, provide food for conferences and celebrations, and help with school donations. A suggested membership donation is $10.00 per household. Sign-up to volunteer with Peet PATT HERE and hard copy sign-ups will be available at our “Back to School Night” on August 21 from 6-7:30pm. Membership donations can also be made through the Tiger Store at

VACCINE REMINDERS FOR 2018-19:  Vaccine Requirements: Reminder for parents of students of 7th and 12th grade students 2018-2019: When scheduling your medical provider visits keep in mind that the Meningococcal Vaccine, specifically A/C/Y/W vaccine, is REQUIRED for all incoming students entering 7th and 12th grades for the 2018-2019 school year. Students must have the vaccine prior to the first day of school to attend and will not be permitted to attend until the vaccine is received.

Incoming 7th graders have an additional requirement of a Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine booster. Contact your student's health office if you have questions.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT”:  Parents& Students, you are cordially invited to attend Peet Junior High’s “Back to School Night”, Tuesday, August 21 from 6:00 – 7:30pm. This will be an open-house style event (drop-in).  Students will be able to pick up their schedules, ID cards, and chromebooks.  Locker information will be printed on student schedules, and students will have an opportunity to organize their lockers. Teachers will be available in their rooms for students and parents, and will share information about course content and class expectations. You will be free to ask questions you might have.  There will be PowerSchool Parent Portal help in the Media Center throughout the evening. If you have any questions about the details of this event, please call the office at 319-553-2710. We look forward to seeing you on August 21st!

Pay Fees/Fines Online:

Fees are paid through the Tiger Web Store which uses the RevTrak system.  This is the same system that is used for depositing lunch money.  You would just click on the School Fees and Fines and log in with your PowerSchool log in information.  You can also get to this Tiger Web Store from your Balance tab in the left navigation bar of your PowerSchool Parent account by clicking on the "Online Payments" icon in the bottom right hand corner below the Balance Due column.  Once you get logged in to see your student's current fees, you will need to add each fee to the cart.  You may proceed to check out after items have been added to your cart, you will need to log in with your RevTrak password.  If you are unsure what your password is for RevTrak, you may click the "Forgot Password" on RevTrak and enter your email address and Revtrak will send you the information.

10 Steps on how to pay School Fees/Fines:

  1. Log into PowerSchool Parent Portal Account
  2. Click on “Balances” – bottom left side
  3. Click on Online Payments – bottom right side of the screen
  4. Log into RevTrak with RevTrak account (not the same as PowerSchool account)
    1. If you need to create an account, click “Create New Account”
    2. If you have forgotten your password, click “Forgot Password” and it will be emailed to you
  5. Once logged in, click “School Fees and Fines”
  6. Log into PowerSchool Parent Portal Account
  7. Click on your 1st students name on the left side
  8. Click “Add Selected to Cart” for the fees/fines you would like to pay
  9. Click “Add to Cart”
  10. Once you are done adding fees/fines to your cart, you can either:
    1. Click on “Cart” – top right side and then click “Check Out” and complete paying for the fees by adding payment infomation OR
    2. Click on your next student on the left side, add fees/fines to the cart and then check-out by clicking “Cart” on the top right side, click “Check Out” and then enter in payment information to complete paying school registration fees
