Mrs. Hoop, the mother of a former Peet student (Sofia Munoz) was generous enough to offer an unused item that she acquired with the intent of using it to create a small business. Since her plans to use the kiln never came to fruition, she decided to offer the kiln to the district for use by the school. We Are Getting Closer To Enjoying Our New Equipment!
One step closer to enjoying our new playground equipment! This afternoon we were greeted by many volunteers with shovels and wheelbarrows in hand, ready to secure our equipment by filling the holes with concrete. We made it just a few minutes before the rains! Our next step is to have the excavated area filled with rock and then mulch.
