The Spanish Club will meet tomorrow, THURSDAY, April 18, during the first shift of Power Hour in room 140. Everyone is welcome to join!
A reminder that The Black Student Union is hosting guest speaker Chiquita Loveless TODAY during the 2nd shift of Power Hour in the auditorium. Chiquita is the Executive Director of Diversity and Inclusion, and Social Justice at UNI and is excited to speak at CFHS about Life After High School. All students and staff are welcome to attend!
A reminder to please join us for an important event called Modeling Matters on Thursday, April 18th from 5:30-7:30 pm in the auditorium! Author Lynn Lyons will address how to decrease stress, worry and anxiety.
Follow the Tigers: Varsity Boys' Tennis will begin at 2:00 pm at Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids; JV Girls' Golf meet will begin at 3:15 pm at Irv Warren Golf Course in Waterloo.
REMINDERS:
Students: You have 10 school days left to serve detentions and pay Power School fees by the May 1 deadline if you wish to attend prom and participate in commencement.
Juniors and Seniors: you may sign up for a prom ticket using the link on Schoology. You may then pay and pick up your ticket in the main office. Tickets will be sold until Friday, May 10 at 12:30 pm. If you are bringing a guest who is a sophomore, or who is not a student at CFHS, a guest form must be filled out. These can be picked up from Mrs. Skarlis in the main office. These are due back in the office by Wednesday, May 8 at 3:30 pm.
