Snow/Inclement Weather Days
District DistrictThe current 2020-2021 Cedar Falls Community School District calendar has scheduled the last day with students as Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
If needed, the first (3) snow/inclement weather days will be treated as 'usual' and there will be no school for students, whether they are in-person or virtual campus students.
If the District has up to three inclement weather full day cancellations, those will be scheduled to be made up on June 2, June 3 and June 4. If additional inclement weather days occur beyond three, those additional days will be virtual/remote learning days for all teachers and students.
We are working through what virtual learning days will look like for teachers and students, including device needs, synchronous or asynchronous learning, etc.
We hope this will limit disruptions to student's learning in a year that has already had numerous challenges.
