The CRUNCH Heard Around the School

Every North Cedar student recently enjoyed crunching into a big, juicy, locally grown apple thanks to the local Farm to School program in the Cedar Falls area. The apples we enjoyed were donated by Jennie Plummer of Skogman Homes and Oakridge Realtors from The Apples on the Avenue orchard in Nashua, Iowa. 6th grade students are pictured here taking a big bite out of their recently delivered apples. Thank you for the donation so we could participate in this program!
