PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Today is Monday, October 29th a B Day.

Please be sure to check out the Enrichment choices for November! The powerpoint is available on Schoology. Sign up will be on Wednesday during announcements.

Student Council is kicking off a new awareness initiative, where each month we have picked a cause to support in an effort to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of these causes.  For October, we would like to show our support of Breast Cancer Awareness month by having a pink out day tomorrow, October 30th! The pink ribbon is an international symbol of breast cancer awareness. The color pink identifies moral support for women with breast cancer. We hope you can join us in an effort to "pink out" Peet!

No Echoes this week due to parent / teacher conferences. All students should make arrangements to get home immediately after school all week. Echoes will resume on Monday, November 5.

Tomorrow, October 30, Peet Jr High will be participate in the Iowa Youth Straw Poll. We will be voting for Governor, U.S. Congress, and State Representative. In preparation for the vote a presentation about the candidates has been posted on your grade Schoology feed.
