Congratulations to our Special Olympics Bowlers who participated in the district tournament on Saturday. Breezy Ryan, Josh Kreger, and Joey Elser all placed 3rd in their divisions. Alex Cunningham, Max Feist, Isaac Purdy, and Hannah Posenkany all placed in their divisions.  The first place finishers will advance to the state tournament in Cedar Rapids in November. Nice job everyone!! A special thanks to Cassidy Craig and Myah Brinker for their help through the bowling season!

Congratulations to Anna Scannell, Jesika Basurto, Rachel Mandt, Claire Switzer, and Pennelope Ferrel for competing in state cross-country this weekend in Ankeny. The whole team ran well and each girl individually set a new personal record. It was a great way to end the season. Congrats ladies!

All 7th grade girls interested in participating in basketball this year there will be a short informational meeting on Tuesday morning at 7:40am in Room 8 with Coach Suiter.

All 8th grade girls interested in participating basketball this year there will be a short informational meeting on Tuesday morning at 7:40am in Room 13 with Coach Cantrall.

There will be a meeting Thursday morning for all 7th and 8th grade athletes interested in joining the Peet wrestling team.  Please meet at 7:30 am in the wrestling room. We will also be meeting after school Thursday in the locker room to hand out equipment.

Staff and students, this week we are collecting cans and boxed food items for our annual Can Food Drive.  Starting Monday, please consider donating to our Food Bank by dropping off donated items in the morning in the front entrance!  Friday October 19th, we will have a Hat Day for staff and students for $1.00, and all the proceeds will go towards the Food Bank fundraiser as well!

Today’s lunch will be: Beef Steak Eze, Kung Pao Chicken with Egg Roll & Rice, Rainbow Pasta Salad, Smiley Potatoes, Veggie Bar with Ranch, and Sidekicks.
