Students, we are nearing the end of making any schedule changes.  We are glad that you are getting settled into your fall classes. If you want any schedule change to be considered, you will need to speak to your counselor by this Friday, August 31st.  

If you have bus questions, please make sure to talk to Mrs. Hoffman at the lunch window before 2:45pm.

This weekend 9th grade volleyball had their first tournament.  With a great match win over Waterloo West, they have lots to build upon for the rest of the season!  The team showed tons of grit after a loss to Linn Mar, scrambling back to win the next game 21-15. 9th grade volleyball plays tonight at Waterloo West at 4 PM.

9th Grade Volleyball team will be dismissed at 2:40pm today.

If you did not come to the 7th Grade Football meeting and still are interested in playing football, come see Mr. Williams in Room 46.

Any 7th grader who wants to play volleyball this year is reminded that practice starts tonight whether or not you have your physical in.  Please check with the nurse today today if you have not gotten an orange slip yet.

7th & 8th-grade cross country runners should ride bus #30. It will go straight to Holmes. When that bus is full, runners should ride bus #16. See Coach Groen or Coach Kahrs with questions.

The Cedar Falls FIRST Robotics Competition Team 525 will hold an information meeting in room 227 at the high school on Tuesday, August 28 at 7:00 PM.  This meeting is open to all students in grades 9-12 that are interested in the team. Students and parents are invited to come to this meeting to learn about the STEM opportunities available in being part of the robotics team. Students not able to attend should contact Mr. Swartley for more information.

Cheerleaders, our first practice will be Wednesday the 29th from 3:15-5:30 in the cafeteria. We will also have a parent meeting after practice from 5:30-5:45.

The CF Football team will be having "Fit to Hit Camp T-Shirt Night" for our home game against Iowa City High this Friday! All participants in the 2018 Fit to Hit camp that wear their 2018 camp shirt to the football game will get free admission! Participants will also be invited to the field to form the tunnel with the cheerleaders as the Tigers take the field. Those going on the field to help form the tunnel should report to the northwest bleachers by the garage door 10 minutes prior to varsity kickoff.

Today’s lunch will be: Walking Taco, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Baked Beans, Veggie Bar with Ranch, and Pineapple.
