Today is Monday, May 1st a B Day.

Students: We have had a number of students bringing fidget spinners to class, which is causing a distraction to the learning environment. If a teacher asks you to put them away, you will need to follow directions or have your fidget spinner confiscated. Please see Mr. Boevers or Mr. Urbanek if you have any questions.

No Echoes or ALT today. All students should make arrangements to get home immediately after school. Echoes and ALT will resume on Tuesday.

7th & 8th Grade Girls in Track, there is NO practice today due to the ELP fair. Check Schoology for updates regarding the meet tomorrow.

Due to track/sidewalk conditions and a lack of an available gym, 7th & 8th Grade Boys track will not have practice tonight.

HS baseball starts today, we will start at 3:30 in the Library at the High School. Practice today will be finished by 5:00. You can ride the Activity Bus to the HS after school.

The 9th grade dance will be this Saturday May 6th from 7:30 - 10:00pm.  There will be music, dancing, prizes, and lots of fun! This year’s theme is “A Night in Paris”. As a reminder, the dance is for 9th grade Peet students only. If you did not receive an invitation, please see Mrs. Hinders in the office.

Students interested in detasseling for Knightpickers this summer, there will be 2 more application dates at Hyvee on 4th and Ansborough in Waterloo. Wednesday, May 3rd at 7:00pm and Saturday, May 6th at 1:00pm. Bring your application, 2 forms of ID, and a parent/guardian.

There will be a girls swim/dive athlete meeting today at 6:30 in the Holmes Cafeteria for all those who plan on swimming/diving in the fall.

May bus passes are now on sale at the lunch window either before school or during lunch.  The cost for a one way pass is $22.00 and a two way pass is $44.00.  All students who ride the bus and do not have a bus sticker on his or her ID, need to purchase a pass by Friday, May 5th.

Today’s lunch will be: Cheese Bread with Marinara, Taco Bites, Peas, Celery with Ranch, and Applesauce.
