PEET JUNIOR HIGH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS


Today is Tuesday, January 31st an A Day.


Today the Media Center will be closed for testing. Please be aware that some 8th grade students will be taking the National Assessment of Educational Progress from 9:00-11:00am and again from 12:30-2:30pm. During passing times when near the Media Center, please pass quietly as to not disturb these students.


Mrs. H and Mrs. Miller have placed tables in front of the library windows with lost and found items.  Please take a minute to look at the tables for misplaced coats, boots, sweatshirts and other clothing.  Items not claimed by Thursday, February 12 will be donated.


Congrats to the 9th Grade Boys Basketball team on their win over Aplington Parkersburg 71 to 23. Peet 71 - Aplington Parkersburg 23. The 5th quarter score was Peet 10- Aplington Parkersburg 11.Nice effort guys!


There will be a mandatory Trapshooting meeting for the spring season February 2nd at the High School in Rm 41 at 3:15.  Contact Coach Grund with any questions.


February bus passes are now on sale at the Lunch Window before school or during all three lunch shifts.  The cost for a two way pass is $44.00 and a one way pass is $22.00.  Any student that rides the bus and does not have a bus sticker on his or her ID, needs to buy a bus pass as the bus drivers will start checking on Monday, February 6th.


9th Grade Girls - Tennis is a Spring Sport at the High School. 9th Grade girls are welcome and encouraged to participate. If you are interested in playing High School Tennis this season, or would just like to learn more about the team -  there will be a brief informational meeting with Coach Knox this Friday, February 3 at 10:35 during Tiger Time in the Office.  You may pick up an informational handout about Women's Tennis in the Office any day this week.
