Student Life Peet Junior HighToday is Tuesday, October 4th an A Day.
ECHOES has been cancelled for tonight, please make arrangements to get home immediately after school tonight.
If you did not get your school picture taken on September 1 or September 2, please stop by the office to sign-up for picture retakes. If you received your picture packet, and you have decided you would like to re-take your picture, please stop by the front office to sign-up for re-takes. At the time of re-takes, you will need to turn in your old packet so they can issue a new packet with your new pictures. Please see the front office with questions.
There is a new award we will be presenting every month at Peet. It is replacing the BUG Award, and it will be called the Peet Pride award. The students recognized will be acknowledged for providing positive leadership at Peet, and going above and beyond what is normally expected.
This month’s winners are: Rachel Brokenshire nominated by Mrs. Lins and Hunter Peterson nominated by Mrs. Hendrickson!!!
Rachel took initiative with an idea she had this summer and spent her own time making it happen! She was passionate about students walking through the doors of Peet Junior High feeling welcomed, celebrating that we are all part of a team! She organized a group of students, came up with the design, and purchased decorations to make the front entry way and the front sidewalks colorful and unforgettable! Her idea came to life and truly made for a welcoming start to every student's school year!
Hunter was a tremendous help with getting all of the Chromebooks ready for the students this summer. Hunter also volunteered his time to help with 7th graders at Boost this summer! Hunter's optimism and enthusiasm are contagious. Thanks for your help, Hunter!
The students will be featured on our website, and receive a certificate for a free meal at Texas Roadhouse.
Today’s lunch will be: Walking Taco, Chicken Patty, Lettuce Cup, Taco Fiesta Beans & Sidekicks Fruit Slushie!
