Halloween Celebrations  - We will celebrate Halloween on Tuesday, October 31st. We invite our Kinder, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Grade students to wear costumes for our parade. Our 5th and 6th grade students will not dress in costumes and will help during the parade. Please do not have the students come to school in the costume. We appreciate costumes that students can be easily worn over school clothes. Please support all students by not including costumes that will scare others or include fake weapons. We will begin at approximately 2:30 PM. If weather allows, we will go outside and around the building. If not, we will parade inside the building. Our class parties will follow the parade. Please join us if you are able!

We are looking forward to meeting with you for Fall Conferences on November 14th and 16th. The parent window to schedule conferences is open October 23rd-November 3rd. Please see the parent instructions for step by step directions for scheduling. These same instructions can be found on our blog post as well.

Can you help?  PALS will be providing a meal to staff during conferences.  See the signup for ways you can donate! Let's show them how THANKFUL we are for everything they do for our kids.

Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders - In the morning when dropping off on the 8th Street side of our building, please pull up as close as possible to our front doors to drop off. Please do not drop off near our playgrounds. Pulling up ensures that traffic continues to move and allows our students to have a crossing guard if they need to cross.

Permission to Publish - Please contact Mr. Bryant if you do not wish to have your child’s picture published. You can do this via email at ralph.bryant@cfschools.org

5th and 6th Grade Futsal Opportunity! Would you like to have the opportunity to play Futsal in the Lincoln Gym on Fridays beginning November 10th? Please check out this flyer!

Weather-Related Announcements - The contact information we have in Power School is the same information that our weather-related announcements will pull from. Please ensure your Power School information is accurate, so you receive the necessary weather related alerts.

Expanding Your Horizons STEM Opportunity: Girls in grades 5-8, consider attending the Expanding Your Horizons Conference to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math opportunities. The conference is scheduled for Saturday, November 11 at UNI and includes many STEM related workshops and an opportunity to view the movie "Dream Big".
