Changes for the End of the School Year: We will be sending home report cards via EMAIL on the last day of school. Iowa Assessments scores will be sent home via hardcopy with the students on the last day. FAST Letters will be sent via EMAIL as well.

Field Day Information:

  • K-6 students will have field day on Tuesday, May 30th

  • The rain date is Thursday, June 1st   

  • Students will have an opportunity to participate in fun and exciting activities that promote fitness, health, and cooperation skills.

  • If at all possible have students bring a water bottle to help stay hydrated during the activities.

Our Playground Installation will happen on Saturday, June 10th beginning at 8 AM! We will need many volunteers to help this to be a successful installation! Can you help?

End of year lunch note! If your child’s lunch account has a negative balance, please bring it up-to-date as soon as possible please. Lunch balances need to be a $0.00 or above by the last day of school. Those of you who have 6th grade children any remaining money will transfer to Junior High. If you have any questions, please call Linda Czuba at 553-2989 or email

From the health office: Please remember to pick up any medication your child has in the Health Office by the last day of school during normal school hours if possible. On Monday June 5th Mrs. Williams will be available until 6pm if you are unable to pick up medication prior to the 5th.   If the outer doors are locked, please call the health office at 319-553-2987.

Medication not picked up will not be kept over the summer. Thank you, Janet

Address, phone and/or email address changes

Please be sure to notify the office of any changes to your address, phone and/or email address as they come up. We should always have the most update information to contact our families. This also goes for any changes to your emergency contacts as well. You may email or call 319-553-2951 with these changes.

Also, please make sure you notify the office of any intentions to move out of the district over the summer as well.

Lost and Found items left at Lincoln after Friday, June 2nd will be donated. Please swing by and see if any belong to your family!


Hardcover books have been sold out. We still have a few soft cover books available for $15. Please pick up your copy before June 2nd, remaining books will be returned to the company and no longer available after the last day of school!

Calling 6th Grade Gardeners! Starting June 6th, 6th grade students can join Messy Mondays at the Toger Pride Garden at Holmes Junior High from 10:00-11:00 AM. Click here for more information!

Would you like to be able to order school supplies in advance and have them waiting on Backpack Night? Our School Link is now up and ready to take your orders! Just follow the link select the grade, please enter your child's name (this is how we will make sure they are at their desk on backpack night). You can choose to add optional items then click add to cart, you have more than 1 student in the upper right hand corner select continue shopping and add another student box the same as above! Than when you're done click checkout enter your billing information select ship to school pay your bill and school supply shopping is done!
