Thanks for a great week at Lincoln!

Thank you for attending Literacy Night! We appreciate partnering with our families to support the growth of our readers! We apologize we had some difficulty with our survey and have created one that will work for you. If you attended and did not have a chance to complete, could you do so here? https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9QXZQ57

Just another reminder that Lost & Found items will be donated on the 1st of each month. Please make sure to check for missing items before they are gone!

Soon your child will be bringing home an order form for Tiger Bucks. This is a fundraiser for our school in which you can purchase gift cards for places you already use, and then use them at those places instead of cash or credit and then for each gift card you purchase from us, the individual companies give us a portion of their sales. So, you can purchase a $20 gift card for $20, but we would get anywhere from 3-20% of that purchase.  It's a win-win!  Take a look at the attached video that explains it a little more! And as always, let me know if you have questions! https://www.facebook.com/LincolnPALS/posts/684216415063459

The first WCFSymphony Lollipop concert will be this coming Saturday, Oct. 15 at 10:00 AM at the Hearst Center for the Arts in Cedar Falls. This is a great opportunity for your younger students to see a FREE concert. Please click on the link for the flyer.

Do you have student in Kinder through 5th grade that would be interested in a Cheer Clinic put on by UNI? Please click here for more information. The registration date has past but Lincoln received the flyer after the cutoff date, please email the address referenced on the flyer for more information on late registration!

Girl Scout Troop 6167 would like to invite 2nd and 3rd grade girls to join our troop. We are activity-based, meaning that we do not meet on a set day and location. We have a private Facebook page that lists event invitations that you can attend based on your schedule. Most events earn a patch. We do not push a large time commitment nor sales quotas. Call the Waterloo Girl Scouts office at 319-232-6601 and ask for Troop 6167.  The office will also have information on other age groups that meet in the area.
