Student Life Holmes Junior HighAttention science Olympiad and science club members, we will be having our end of the year picnic on Thursday, May 31st after school. We will hand out awards and medals and enjoy some food outside at the Holmes park. Please plan to attend.
Any current 8th or 9th grader interested in running men's cross country needs to attend a sign-up meeting tomorrow at 7:45 a.m. in the Holmes Media Center

Thursday will be the last night for the echoes program, but ALT will still be running
Tomorrow we will be wearing blue in honor of Mrs. Denholm (HS Counselor and Owen and Gavin's mom) continued fight with cancer. Let's show Mrs. Denholm and her family our love and support.
Due to lack of interest, there will be no boys pizza party. Those that prepaid will get their money refunded.
Also, any 8th grader that wants a Metro championship 'T' shirt needs to have the order in by Friday. Make checks payable to Holmes Jr. High. The design is located on Coach Rottinghaus's door.
HS Marching Band Colorguard auditions are Thursday, May 31st in the HS band room from 3:15-4:30 PM. If you are interested in auditioning there are two practice sessions, also in the HS band room. They are Thursday, May 24th and Tuesday, May 29th from 3:15-4:30. No experience is necessary - the audition process will teach you how to hold and spin a flag, and give you some very basic techniques to use for your audition. See Mrs. Engelhardt in the band room if you have questions.
