Student Life Holmes Junior HighAttention high school softball players: the indoor hitting facility will be open on Mondays 5:00-7:00 p.m. and Wednesdays 4:00-6:00 p.m. beginning Monday, February 26. It is open to girls grades 8-12. Contact Coach Chidester with questions.
Congratulations to our High School Women’s basketball team on their win last night and making it to state.
We will be having a pep bus, for 9th graders, interested in going to Des Moines next week to support our Women’s high school basketball team at state. The bus leaves Holmes Monday 2/26 at 12:15pm for a 3:15 game. The cost is $6/bus & $10/ticket. You can sign up on the high schools website. You need to have everything turned in Monday morning by 9:30am. Check the website for tshirt orders.
Know Your Meal Account Balance Before You Shop Ala Carte
Students - please know your meal account balance BEFORE shopping a la carte. This will save you time at checkout. All students have the ability to check their Family Meal Account Balance from their PowerSchool account. Once logged into PowerSchool, access the Balance tab, then on the top is displayed the Family Meal Account Balance.
Just a reminder that high school cheer tryouts are this Saturday 2/24 at Holmes from 8-5 in the old gym. Please use the front entrance
7th & 8th grade boys interested in track this spring should sign up. Sheets are located in the locker room, Coach Rotttinghaus’ room, and the outside the boys restrooms in the Social Studies hallway. There will be an informational meeting in the old gym Wed 2/28 at 7:45am.
