The Holmes Tiger 7th grade girls basketball team opened their season last night with three games against their rivals from Peet. Strong defense in the first game kept the game within reach for Holmes, yet Peet made their free throws down the stretch and came away with a 28-13 victory. The second game saw a solid start by Holmes, and, with some crucial buckets in the 4th quarter, Holmes was victorious, 14-4. The nightcap saw a similar back and forth contest like the previous two games. The Peet Tigers pulled away in the end, however, winning 14-4. Holmes will next play the Carver Bulldogs next Tuesday.

Attention to Tigers interested in Speech Team! Please attend an informational meeting with Mrs. McCawley in the conference room at 3:00 on Monday, November 14! During this meeting, we will discuss the upcoming season and establish practice times. It is extremely important to attend this meeting.
