We would like to announce our 2019-2020 Student Senate officers: President - Rachel Brokenshire; Vice President - Sabrina Leistikow; Secretary - Carter Schofield; Treasurer - Sid Kalala. We are going to be doing great things next year and are looking for new members to join our team. Please consider joining us on Wednesday mornings next year.
The school counselors will be calling in students who have conflicts in their schedules for next year until the end of the year. At this time ONLY students with conflicts will be allowed to make changes. The times and dates for students to make other changes will be broadcast later. Please be reading your email to make sure you don't miss an important one asking you to come and see your counselor.
Are you interested in being involved in a group that makes a huge difference at the high school? Please read your email or schoology for information about MVP (Mentors in Violence Prevention). Fill out the application by tomorrow, Friday, May 31st! The MVP leaders work with the sophomores in many different ways to make our school a safe and accepting place for all students. MVP leaders also lead discussions in Health that have to do with relationships and gender violence. Thank you for your consideration to join this very important group!
Women's Swim Team: There will be a meeting tonight at 6:15 pm in the Holmes Jr. High cafeteria.
The library will let you take home books for the summer! Come find your summer reading books.
Today is the last day to order a Girls' Track state runner-up t-shirt. You can pay and order through Mrs. Steffy in the main office or online through Iowa Sports Supply.
Follow the Tigers: Girls' State Tennis is taking place in Bettendorf; Varsity Softball will begin at 5:30 pm at Robinson-Dresser.
