Announcements: Monday, November 12, 2018 B Day

E.A.T. Challenge of the day: Donate your old clothes rather than throwing them away. The production of clothing produces a large amount of greenhouse gasses, and millions of textiles end up in landfills each year, where they will remain forever since they cannot decompose. By donating clothing to places like Goodwill, the Salvation Army, Ross, and other second hand retailers, you are not only helping the environment, but also doing a good deed.

A representative from the following schools will be here today and tomorrow week to speak with interested students: NIACC - Today at 10:45am and Ellsworth Community College on Tuesday at 8:45am. Interested students can sign up through Schoology or in counseling.

Everyone is encouraged to attend the Winter Sports Kick-off in the gymnasium on Tuesday night, November 13 at 7:30 pm. Winter team coaches and players will be introduced. Free popcorn will be served and you can purchased drinks and candy for $1. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to our outstanding volleyball team for your great season and state runner-up finish. So proud of how you represented us throughout the year.

Congratulations to Ms. Rathe and all the production workers and actors for the fall play. It was a great show and you showed that you were prepared to do an outstanding job. Again, congratulations on a great performance.

Congratulations to the football team for remaining undefeated and making it to the State championship game! The championship game will be played at 7:06 pm in the UNI-Dome on Friday. Note that there is not a game directly ahead of ours, so this will be our start time. Here are some things to know for Friday: This Friday will be a red out. All Tiger fans are encouraged to wear red to the game. You can purchase a ticket ahead of time in the main office. We strongly encourage students and staff to buy your ticket in the office to avoid long lines on Friday. And, for every ticket sold, CF will receive a small credit to offset expenses of being in the playoffs. Parking on Friday will be $10 so you are encouraged to carpool. Let's plan on getting over to the Dome this Friday to help our team finish this season off right!
