All Juniors: On Monday, October 15, during Power Hour, you are required to report to your assigned Power Hour room to take the Iowa Youth Survey. You are required to stay the entire 30 minutes. Check Power School if you forget where your assigned Power Hour is.
Come support our Student Food Drive on Friday. We will be having a bake sale in the Tigers' Den. All baked goods are $1.00. Make sure to bring your appetite tomorrow as Chic-Fil-A will be providing Chicken Biscuit Sandwiches. Those will be sold for $3.00 - these usually go fast, so get here early.
Attention Seniors: are you 17 and half years old? Then you should register to vote tomorrow, Friday, October 12th in the library, available all day! Registering to vote and voting is extremely important, especially as a high school student. To register, students need to bring their Iowa driver’s license or the last four digits of their Social Security number. Absentee Ballot Requests will also be available for those who want to vote by mail. This event is bi-partisan and also open to high school employees. Come this Friday to the library to have your voice heard!
State Representative Bob Kressig will be here on Friday, October 12 for a student round table. Those interested in hearing about the Kressig campaign are invited to attend - room 255 during the first shift of Power Hour.
Come join the CF Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) along with Big House student ministries after the Varsity football game on Friday as they host the 5th Quarter at the NinjaU gym next to Kohl's on University Ave in Cedar Falls. The event will cost $3 to get in and there will be pizza and drinks. Make sure to bring a pair of clean shoes with you to use the gym equipment. Doors will open at 9:30pm. All students are welcome to attend.
Follow the Tigers: Girls' Varsity Swimming and Diving MVC Championships at 5:00 pm at Linn-Mar High School in Cedar Rapids.
