Any AP student who has not completed the pre-administration process needs to attend a session TODAY during A or B shift of Power Hour in the Auditorium. Bring a pencil and a hard surface to write on, such as a binder or a notebook.
JUNIORS: Get your ACT registration filled out by Friday, May 4th if you want to take the test on June 9th! Check in during Power Hour with your counselor if you need help! Also, let us know if you need special accommodations OR a fee waiver.
All Prom eligible Junior and Senior students are invited to the ‘Enchanted Forest’ Prom on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Electric Park Ballroom in Waterloo (by Cattle Congress). The dance will be from 8pm-midnight. Students attending the dance must arrive by 10pm and must bring their School ID or Driver’s License and prom ticket for admittance into the dance. Once a student leaves the dance, they may not return. If you need your School ID, plan ahead to purchase that in the main office. Guest forms are available in the main office and are due no later than 3:30pmon Wednesday, May 9.
Prom tickets must be ordered by filling out the online form on the high school website. Once you have ordered your ticket, you may make payment and pick up your tickets in the main office. Tickets are $15.00 each and will be sold through 3:30pm on Friday, May 11. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.
Prom eligible: A student is prom eligible when they have 2 or less detentions and have no fines/fees on their Power School account.
Post Prom will be held Sunday, May 13 from midnight-3:30am at Orchard Hill Church. Ticket sales begin Monday, May 7. Tickets will be on sale Monday-Thursday before school and during Power Hour and on Friday before school, during Power Hour and after school. Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $10.00 at the door. Food will be provided, and there will be music, games, prizes, knockerballs and a hypnotist.
Senior T-shirts are in! Please pick up your order in the Business Dept. with Mrs. Cuvelier before Friday.
Just a reminder that the blood drive is next Friday, May 11th. There is a sign up on Schoology. If you are 16 or 17 and have not donated before, you MUST pick up a parent consent form in the counseling office, have that signed and bring that back in to Mrs. Gardner or bring it the day of the blood drive.
Follow the Tigers: Girls' Varsity Tennis match at 4:00 pm at Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids; Boys' Varsity Tennis match at 4:00 pm at UNI; Boys' JV and Varsity Soccer games beginning at 5:00 pm at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex; Girls' JV and Varsity Soccer beginning at 5:30 pm at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex.
