A reminder to JUNIORS who are taking the Accuplacer to report to their locations at 5th hour today. When you are done with the Accuplacer, you need to report back to class. If you received your ACT scores yesterday, please check in the counseling office to see if you still need to take it. Check Schoology if you are unsure of where to go. Make sure your chromebook is fully charged and ready to go!
Last minute change for all students interested in PSEO coursework next Fall. We will be meeting immediately following the day awards ceremony. We will meet in the gym, in the bleachers, see Mr. Wood or Mrs. Denholm following the ceremony for directions. We will be brief, but you do need to be at this meeting.
Prom tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 30. The cost will be $15.00 per ticket. Look for a link to order your tickets on the High school website on Monday. A reminder that all fines, fees and detentions must be cleared before purchasing your ticket. More information to come.
Any student taking an AP Exam needs to attend a pre-administration session. These will be held in the Auditorium during A shift on Thursday and during both shifts of Power Hour on Friday. You only need to attend one session.
Class of 2018: Please register for a free ticket the SENIOR BREAKFAST being held on Friday, May 25th at 7:30 a.m. at Prairie Lakes Church. If you register through Cedar Falls Foundation as Alumni, they will purchase your breakfast for you! If you are not interested in being registered, please email Mrs. Cuvelier for details on a ticket. Your confirmation email will be your TICKET to the breakfast to verify that you received this and save it for the date.
This Friday, April 27 is the last day to order and pay for a 2017-2018 yearbook. To see if you have already purchased a yearbook, check the Balance page on your PowerSchool portal or see Mrs. Steffy in the main office.
On Tuesday, May 8th at 7 P.M. we will be holding our Senior Honors Convocation, in which we award and recognize seniors receiving scholarships from around the community and state. We are requesting that all students who have been awarded scholarships make note of them in the Senior Scholarship Recognition Form. If students fill out this document, their name and the scholarship they have received will be listed in the program, each student will also be recognized for their accomplishments at the end of the program. This document has been posted on the Class of 2018 Schoology page, the school counseling website and in an email to you and your parents. The deadline to have your scholarships listed in the program is Friday, April 27th. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the Honors Convocation on May 8th.
Follow the Tigers: Boys' Varsity Tennis match at 1:00 pm at UNI; Girls' Varsity Golf meet at 2:30 pm at Gates Golf Course in Waterloo.
REMINDERS: ATTENTION JUNIOR and SENIOR GUYS: Be sure to get to Milroy’s (323 Washington St-CF) )or Palace Clothiers (312 Main St. CF) SOON to get your tux selected for Prom! Both businesses donate $5 per tux rental to our Post Prom event. Please note: You may select your tux at the Palace Clothiers Main St, CF location—but will need to pick it up at their Kimball Ave, Waterloo location because CF location closes at the end of April. Junior and Senior Girls: "GLAM" will also donates an amount to our Post Prom event. They also register your dress so that no one else is wearing that same dress.
