Tiger Pals will have their LAST meeting of the year, this coming Thursday, April 26th during B shift of Power Hour in the Auditorium. All must attend this quick meeting!

A reminder to students that plan on attending prom that all detentions, fines, and fees need to be cleared before you can buy your ticket. If you want to know where you stand on detentions, check with your associate principal.

ATTENTION JUNIOR and SENIOR GUYS: Be sure to get to Milroy’s (323 Washington St-CF) )or Palace Clothiers (312 Main St. CF) SOON to get your tux selected for Prom! Both businesses donate $5 per tux rental to our Post Prom event. Please note: You may select your tux at the Palace Clothiers Main St, CF location, but you will need to pick it up at their Kimball Ave, Waterloo location because the CF location closes at the end of April. JUNIOR and SENIOR GIRLS: "Glam" also donates an amount to our Post Prom event. They also register your dress so that no one else is wearing that same dress.

ACCUPLACER ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25th for JUNIORS: We will be giving the Accuplacer to most of the juniors on Wednesday, April 25th starting 5th hour and 60 sophomores on Thursday morning. Juniors who have taken the ACT and met the cut scores will NOT have to take the Accuplacer. They will be notified and a list will be shared with staff. Sophomores who need the Accuplacer are signed up to take Comp I next year. The Accuplacer is an online test that community colleges use for course placement. Students need to meet the cut scores for the concurrent classes we offer at the high school that requires a prerequisite These classes include: HCC Comp I, HCC Stats and HCC Math for Liberal Arts. We also need to check the scores for our Developmental Math, Reading and Writing classes. All students going to community college need to meet cut scores or take Developmental classes when they start their programs. It is important that students try hard and do their best. The Accuplacer is taken online and is untimed with 3 sections: Reading Skills, Sentence Skills and Math Skills. Check out the link in Schoology if you are interested in more information and study guides. Because of the wifi, we need to separate the students into 3 different areas. We will have 120 students in both gyms, 60 students in the library and 100 students in the cafeteria. We have the students divided up and will share the lists. Students need to report to the following areas: A to DI go to the North Gym; DO to HOL go to South Gym; HOR-MI go to the Library; MO-Z go to the Cafeteria. IT IS CRITICAL TO HAVE YOUR CHROMEBOOKS CHARGED AND READY TO GO FOR THE ACCUPLACER!

On Tuesday, May 8th at 7 P.M. we will be holding our Senior Honors Convocation, in which we award and recognize seniors receiving scholarships from around the community and state. We are requesting that all students who have been awarded scholarships make note of them in the Senior Scholarship Recognition Form. If students fill out this document, their name and the scholarship they have received will be listed in the program, each student will also be recognized for their accomplishments at the end of the program. This document has been posted on the Class of 2018 Schoology page, the school counseling website and in an email to you and your parents. The deadline to have your scholarships listed in the program is Friday, April 27th. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the Honors Convocation on May 8th.
