Please dress for the weather! Saturday morning there is a Varsity only tournament at Bettendorf. The bus leaves from the high school at 6:45am. Again, please dress for the weather.

Last Chance for Free Money! You have until midnight to complete the Cedar Falls Educators Make A Difference scholarship application. We will be awarding two seniors who can best express the difference an educator has made on their life. Also, tonight at midnight the applications close for the Cedar Falls Schools Foundation Scholarships. There are over $20,000 being given away spread out over 10 scholarships! Don't miss this opportunity to score some cash! Remember, when you're completely over the scholarship process and stressed out, just tell yourself, "people often say that motivation doesn't last. Well neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily." Thanks Zig Ziglar! Have a great weekend!

Beginning Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 the contractor will begin Stage 1 reconstruction of West 12th Street by closing West 12th Street from Clark Drive to Division Street. The intersection at West 12th Street and Division Street will remain open. In order for the contractor to begin pavement removal, a full road closure will be required. The road closure will be in effect for six (6) to eight (8) weeks, depending on the weather. For safety's sake, please stay away from the construction area. Heavy equipment will be moving back and forth on the closed street. It would be advisable to stay behind the sidewalk on the property side during the reconstruction work. If you want additional information about the 2018 Street Construction Project, please visit the project web page at www.cedarfalls.com/StreetConstruction
