Are you interested in spending a day with a professional in a career of your interest? Spring job shadow sign ups are happening this week. If you would like to have someone help you set up an opportunity to shadow a career of your choice in the Cedar Valley, please see Mr. Wood's Schoology post. Today we will be inviting anyone interested in fields that are NOT in healthcare at 11:30, A shift of Power Hour in the auditorium. Friday we will invite all those interested in a healthcare field. /p>
Women's Track: there will be a quick meeting during A shift of Power Hour on Friday, January 26 in the Auditorium. Please see Coach Bearbower if you are unable to attend./p>
Girl's Soccer will have lifting in the high school weight room on Friday 1/26 this week at 4:05pm. Open gym will be Thursday 1/25 at 7:30 pm; girls 7th-12th grade are invited to play pick-up in the high school gym. E-mail Coach Place with questions at placea@uni.edu.
Are you a young woman interested in a career in engineering? Curious about what engineering career options are available? Do you want to tour engineering facilities or hear from professionals? The Society of Women Engineerswill be having their first meeting on Friday, Jan 26th during A shift in room 227. Join us to help plan future events and talk with other students interested in this career path.
Reminders: For the entire month of January, there is a student-led collection of basic toiletry items, to donate to students who are in need at the Cedar Falls elementary schools. There is a box in the counseling office for any items you would be willing to donate during the month of January. If you have any questions please contact Rachel Kuehner.
