Attention speech team members: there will be a meeting in Mrs. McCawley's room TODAY during B shift of Power hour. This is a very important meeting! If you are not able to attend, contact Mrs. McCawley as soon as possible.
Please return your semester textbooks to the library between testing periods.
For the entire month of January, there is a student-led collection of basic toiletry items to donate to students who are in need at the Cedar Falls elementary schools. There is a box in the counseling office for any items you would be willing to donate during the month of January. If you have any questions please contact Rachel Kuehner.
Buses will run at regular times after school today.
Students and Parents: Please visit the STEM Open House at Cedar Falls High School TONIGHT from 5:30 to 7:15 pm in the PLTH (Project Lead the Way) classrooms, rooms 30 and 31 in the lower level below the gym. Come see student projects and learn about STEM course options in the Cedar Falls School District.
Girls' Soccer will have weight lifting Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week (1/16, 1/18, 1/19) at 4:05 pm in the high school weight room. There will also be a mandatory meeting Thursday (1/18)at 3:20 pm for all girls interested in soccer, grades 9th-12th. The meeting will be held in the high school cafeteria. There will be open gym Monday (1/22) and Thursday (1/25) at 7:30 pm. All girls 7th-12th grade interested in soccer are invited to come play pick-up in the high school gym. Bring shin guards to open gym.
Follow the Tigers: Boys' Sophomore and Varsity Basketball games beginning at 6:00 pm vs. Iowa City West at CFHS.
Reminders: The First annual Snow Ball Winter Dance will be Saturday, January 27 from 8-11 pm at Maucker Union Hall on the UNI campus. Sign up for tickets on the CFHS website or Schoology and pick them up in the main office. The cost per ticket is $7.00. Guest forms may be picked up im the main office and are due by Wednesday, January 24 at 3:30 pm.
