Thank you to all who participated in Trunk or Treat on Sunday. We had so many compliments this year on how great and interactive the Trunks were. We raised $250 and had over 8 boxes of cans donated. The votes were close but the winners are: 3rd Place - Shrek - The Drama Department; 2nd Place - Angry Birds - Mrs. Griffin's 3rd hr; 1st Place - The Meat Cleaver - Mr. VanCleve's 3rd hr
Tiger Pals will meet this Thursday, November 2 in the Auditorium during Power Hour, B shift!
Sophomore Leadership will meet today during A shift of Power Hour, in room 144, which is Mrs. Gruhn's room.
November bus passes are now available for purchase in the main office.
A representative from the United States Marine Corp will be here to speak with interested students on today at 9:40. Interested students may sign up in counseling or through Schoology.
A Pep bus will be offered for the football play-off game against Iowa City West in Iowa City this Friday, November 3. The game starts at 7:00 pm and the bus will leave from the Auditorium entrance of CFHS at 4:45 pm. Cost for the bus will be $6.00 and you will purchase your game ticket in Iowa City for $6.00. We must have a minimum of 25 students signed up to go and this is open to 9th-12th graders. Go to the Cedar Falls High School website to sign up and then come to the main office to pay your $6.00 by Thursday, November 2 at 3:15 pm.
A Pep bus will also be offered to the State Women’s Swim meet in Marshalltown on Saturday, November 4. The bus will leave from the Auditorium entrance of CFHS at 8:00 am. Cost for the bus will be $6.00. This is open to 9th-12th graders and there must be a minimum of 25 students signed up to go. Deadline for sign up and payment will be Thursday, November 2 at 3:15 pm. Go to the Cedar Falls High School website to sign up. If you plan to go, you must get your tickets in advance by going to GoFan IGHSAU website. Stop in the main office if you need assistance.
