Sophomore, Junior and Senior females.... Please join Women's leadership on Friday, September 22ndduring B shift in room 106. This will be a fun get to know you meeting with some brainstorming on topics we want to cover this year. Please join us and bring all of your great ideas.
Students attending the Tiger Football game this Friday night should use the Southwest Entrance of the Dome. You must have purchased an Activity Pass to get into the game free. Check with our bookkeeper in the office if are not sure you have an Activity Pass. Also, you must bring your school ID if you have an Activity Pass. We scan your ID which shows if you have an Activity Pass or not. If you do not have your student ID you will not be allowed entrance to the game. We will no longer take ID numbers. Finally, once you leave the Dome you may not come back in regardless if you have an Activity Pass or not. Once you're in.. you're in. Once you're out.. you're out.
Sophomores if you were given a used Chromebook case, please pick up a new case in the library.
The fall men's tennis meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 13, after school at 3:10 in Room 106. Any men's tennis players, or prospective tennis players are welcome to attend. We will order uniforms for the season, distribute schedules, and cover what you need to do to be ready for the season. The CF Fellowship of Christian Athletes will not meet during Power Hour today. The cookout will be rescheduled. If you brought food items to share, please give them to Mr. Wilkinson in room 53.
Softball - Coach Chidester will meet with pitchers & catchers for next season this Sunday (Sept. 10), 4:30-6:00 at the high school gym. Use the rear entrance by the track
SENIORS: This is a very important announcement. On Monday, September 11th, you will need to attend a senior meeting in the auditorium. The school counselors have very important information to share with you AND you will be measured for your cap and gown. It is required for you to attend one of the following times: Power Hour 1st shift or Power Hour 2nd shift or 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. Students who do not attend will need to make up the time during a future power hour. Thank you for your support! Let us know if you have any questions.
If you plan to bring a guest to Homecoming who is not a student at Cedar Falls High School, you must fill out a guest form, which can be picked up at the main office, or found on the High school website. Forms must be turned in NO LATER than 3:30 pm on Wednesday, Sept 27.

REMINDERS:Junior Leadership applications are now being accepted via a link on Schoology (sent by Mrs. Considine). Juniors interested in being part of a committed team of volunteers are encouraged to apply. The goal of Junior Leadership is service to our high school and community. We serve through many activities involving the food drive, bake sales for school & community organizations, volunteering in the community and organizing Prom. If you are interested in being part of this amazing group of Juniors, complete the application by Wednesday, September 13th
"All students wanting to participate in FTC Robotics, listen up! To be placed on a team, all students will need to fill out the application that has been linked to on your class Schoology page. Application deadline is Thursday 3:00, and team placements will be emailed Friday. The FTC Kickoff will be Saturday Sept. 9thfrom 10-noon in the High School auditorium. Come meet your team and watch the LIVE game reveal.

Juniors and Seniors: The College Fair at the McLeod Center is next Tuesday, September 12th from 9:00am-11:00am. The College Fair is a great opportunity to walk around and meet with admission representatives from over 80 colleges, universities, and other post-secondary options. Check out the Schoology post and please follow the directions. You can also sign up in the Tiger's Den before school and at power hour. The deadline to sign up is next Monday September 11th at noon. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to find the post-secondary option of your dreams!
