Juniors: ACT Registration is for the April 8th test date is this Friday, March 3rd!! Registration takes about 45 minutes. If you need help, come to the counseling office during Power Hour. Let us know if you need a fee waiver.
CFHS is offering an ACT Prep Seminar for students looking for some extra preparation for the upcoming ACT Testing dates. Seminar information and sign up is posted on the main high school website.
The CF Fellowship of Christian Athletes will not meet today during Power Hour.
The CFHS Women's basketball team is in the Semi Finals! They will play Indianola on Friday, March 3rd at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines at 1:30 pm. A Pep Bus will be going if enough people sign up. The cost is $16.00 which includes the cost of admission ticket. Bus leaves the High School PROMPTLY at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, March 3rd (leaves Peet at 10:25, leaves Holmes at 10:35). Please register on the CFHS website and use your student email. Payment MUST be made at your school by Friday, March 3rd at 8:45 a.m. Pep Bus will return only to CFHS after the game.
High School students are released at 10:27 as long as they have had a parent call the Attendance office to excuse them. Tickets are on sale on in the main office for $10.00.

Cheer Tryouts: Saturday, March 4th at the CFHS Gym. Practices will be from4:00 – 6:00 Wednesday, March 1st and Thursday, March 2nd. Questions can be directed to Tami Doyle at tjdoyle@cfu.net.
Juniors and Sophomores: Check out RYLA. This is a GREAT summer leadership opportunity. It is the 3rd week in July at Grinnell College and it is FREE. Application deadline is April 30th and the link is on Schoology.
March bus passes are now available for purchase in the main office.
March 6th – 10th is National School Breakfast Week! Come enjoy school breakfast each morning to receive an entry for a chance to win a $15.00 iTunes Gift Card and Let’s Move Water Bottle.
Tryouts for the CFHS Dance Team are March 25th. Practices are March 8th and March 22nd. Tryouts are open to current 8th-11th grade students. Go tocedarfallsdance.com for more information.
There is a Cedar Falls HS Women's Soccer Informational Meeting for parents/players on Monday, March 6th @ 6pm in the Cedar Falls HS Auditorium. If parents/players have attended previous meetings, they do NOT need to attend again.
The spring musical opens this week! Don't miss the hilarious and moving Shrek: The Musical. Performance dates are Friday, March 3rd and Saturday, March 4th. The show starts at 7:00pm. Tickets are $8 for students and $9 for adults and can be purchased in the main office or at the door.
