Friday, December 16th is the LAST day for students to make changes to their 2nd semester schedule. Please make an appointment ASAP with your school counselor to get the required paperwork completed.
This week’s Lunch and Learn Career Speaker will Jason Auel from the Iowa DNR. If you are a student who has an interest in the sciences or specifically the agriculture, natural resources or environmental science career cluster, this would be for you. Jason has worked for the Iowa DNR for the past 15 years and is currently the Wildlife Biologist. As the biologist Jason and his coworkers are responsible for managing 14,000 acres of state owned public hunting ground in 7 counties. He also is in charge of testing for wildlife diseases, research, public education and restoring and maintaining habitat.
Join us tomorrow during A shift of Power Hour in the auditorium to hear Jason speak and connect with him regarding job shadow opportunities.
