Juniors: Iowa Youth Survey will be tomorrow Thursday, Oct 13th A shift of Power Hour.  Attendance for Junior students is required.

The CF Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host the annual Fields of Faith event at the high school football field tonight from 7-9pm. Come for music, speakers and small group time. Bring a blanket or chair to sit on as the event will be on the field. All students are welcome to attend.

Friday, October 14th is the last day to drop an extra class without a penalty. Students need to carry 6 full classes plus PE. Please see your school counselor ASAP to complete paperwork that needs teacher and parent signatures.

A representative from the following military branch and universities will be here next week to meet with interested students.

All Model United Nations students planning on attending the Fall session need to see Mr. Kangas in room 147 during Power Hour.

Anyone interested in wrestling or managing, there will be a short meeting at the beginning of Power Hour in the wrestling room located in the back of the main gym. Please contact Coach Wiechmann if you are unable to attend.

CF DECA will be having a fundraiser at CHICK-FILA in Waterloo this Thursday Oct. 13th from 5:30 – 9:30PM. Customers must mention CF DECA when ordering. Proceeds from fundraiser go to offset State and National Contests.

Reminders

Materials are now available for any students interested in the 2016-2017 Know Your Constitution Contest sponsored by the Iowa Bar Association. The contest includes a 50 question open-book multiple-choice quiz and a short essay. Finalists in the contest are entered into a drawing for a free one-week trip to Washington DC. See Ms. Lake for materials or if you have questions! Completed quizzes will be due before Thanksgiving break!

If you have signed up for the PSAT please pay Mrs. Steffy in the main office byFriday A.M. or your spot could be given to another individual to test. If you are a sophomore or junior and interested in still signing up for the test please do so from the link on Schoology just posted.
