Winter+break+book+challenge Orchard Hill Elementary

Winter Break to Read

The Orchard Hill library is holding a “winter break to read” contest again this year.  Each student should have gotten a blue bookmark to take home for Winter Break. If they read 5 books (or for older students every 100 pages counts as a "book") and have it signed by a parent, they are entered into a drawing for a prize.  Some of the prizes include lunch in the library, an extra book checkout, reading time with Mrs. Rausch, Mrs. Smith, or Mrs. Newgard, and lots of other great prizes.  Not [...]

A Celebration Of Learning!

Our students have worked hard this year! We celebrated this work today by viewing The Secret Life Of Pets. Our 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students connected with buddies in Kinder, 1st and 2nd grade to help them enjoy the movie. This was a leadership opportunity enjoyed by all. Keep up your hard work Lincoln Tigers!

Lego+league Orchard Hill Elementary

Orchard Hill's First Lego League Team qualifies for State Competition

Orchard Hill's First Lego League Team - #5571 "The Tenacious Tigers" - participated in the regional Lego League event held at Peet Junior High on Saturday, December 3. The team was awarded a trophy and each member received certificates for second place in the robot run portion of the competition.
